About the role
We are looking for a Production Engineer to manage and coordinate day-to-day production activities for conveyor manufacturing and assembly.

- Plan and monitor daily production activities as per project and delivery schedules
- Coordinate conveyor fabrication, assembly, installation, and testing activities
- Read and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, and production specifications
- Coordinate with the Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, and Project teams
- Allocate manpower and monitor shop-floor activities
- Ensure production is completed within the planned timeline and required quality standards
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with the Stores/Purchase team for shortages
- Identify production issues and implement corrective actions
- Conduct inspection and testing of conveyor assemblies before dispatch
- Maintain production reports, job cards, checklists, and other required records
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of production tools and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and maintain 5S/housekeeping on the shop floor
- Support continuous improvement in production processes, productivity, and cost reduction
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- 2–5 years of experience in production/manufacturing, preferably in conveyor, automation, material handling, or machinery manufacturing
- Good knowledge of mechanical assembly and fabrication processes
- Ability to read mechanical drawings and BOMs
- Good manpower handling and shop-floor coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production documentation
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication and coordination skills
